Spring is always a time of changing weather in the NC Mountains. Just a few days ago, we had six inches of snow. Today the temperature is in the mid 60's. Seventy degree weather is not far off. We'll still have a mix of cooler and warmer weather through the spring.
Our family rafting trips will not start until mid-May, but there are lots of other things to do in the mountains in the spring. Check with the Bryson City, Franklin, &/or Jackson County visitors center for local events and activities.
