The Ultimate Whitewater Rafting Trip for Younger Kids.
This family rafting trip is the perfect combination of fun, adventure, and safety for younger kids and their family's. It's also great for beginners up to age 11.
Kids as young as age 4 can go on this trip. Kids under age 7 should be comfortable with water and a little bit of a go-getter. Age 7 and up usually do good unless they are really apprehensive. Older kids, even teens, can have a great time on the trip. Older kids may want to choose a Ducky solo to add adventure to the trip for them.
We are so confident that this is the "Ultimate Whitewater Rafting Trip for Younger Kids" that we will give you your money back if you don't have a great time rafting with your kids on this trip. It's Fun or it's Free Guarantee!
It's definitely whitewater, but definitely not big whitewater. Bounce and churn through fun and exciting (but forgiving) rapids like Papa Bear, Moonshot, Double Drop, Slingshot, Surfing Rapid and Sharks Tooth.

What if it rains?
Most summer rain here comes in the form of afternoon showers. The best way to avoid rain is to go on our "Ultimate Kids Rafting Trip." In each of the past two years, it has only been rained on twice. Each time is was a light shower. Our "Tuck Splash" trip in the afternoon gets rained on more frequently, but certainly not every day.
Most summer showers and storms are in the afternoon and last less than 20 minutes. Trips go rain or shine. We may delay a trip for a few minutes while a shower passes. You can reschedule to another day.
You can reschedule up until one hour before the trip. And, in the event of rain, you can reschedule up until trip time.
We bring fleece jackets along on all trips. The Tuck is a warm and open river with lots of sunshine. Still, kids can get chilled even on a hot summer day when they are playing in and around water.
