Nantahala Rafting Revival
The Nantahala Rafting Revival is our most spirited rafted trip. It's great for older and active pre-teens, active teens and adults. These trips are designed for families and groups with teens, older pre-teens, youth groups, church groups, and Scout groups. It's a great trip for group rafting.
The pace and attitude of this trip is for more action, more splashing and less "hand-holding."
For this trip you can choose guide-assisted, pay extra to guarantee a guide in your boat, or go it alone with a self-guided rentals.
Make a day of it from our Nantahala Rafting Center and Park. Whitewater Raft, Hike, Picnic, cook out. It has over 25 unique picnic &/or play spots and we have over 30 games and activities. All from our six acre park in the Nantahala Gorge in the NC Smokies.
On your whitewater rafting trip on the Nantahala River, you'll raft over 20 rapids ending with the classic Little Wesser. The Nantahala River is dam-controlled giving you consistent water levels throughout the rafting season.
The many rapids on the Nantahala River are fun and adventurous, but not overwhelming. This means even those in your family or group who are not as enthusiastic about rafting can have a great time.
For the more adventurous, you can try a Ducky (aka inflatable kayak).
The Nantahala River is clear and cool. Minimum age to raft the Nantahala is age 7.
Guide-Assisted - A guide is along, but not in every raft. This is the most popular way to raft the Nantahala.
